The Office of Institutional Advancement is now accepting nominations for the 40 Under 40 Class of 2023.

This achievement recognizes individuals who attended Paine College, who are under the age of 40 and who are contributing to advancement in a variety of areas. The selected alumni represent rising entrepreneurs, influencers, creators, professionals, and executives who shape culture, lead their communities, excel in their fields, and who pave the way for what comes next.

Eligible nominees must be under the age of 40 as of May 1, 2023. To submit a nomination, complete the form below. A candidate only needs to be nominated one time. Multiple nominations will have no bearing on selection. In 200-250 words, each nominator will be asked to brag on their nominee by listing the top 2-3 achievements/reasons why they are nominating them.

Self-nominations are not accepted.

Eligibility
- Has an earned an undergraduate degree from Paine College
- Is under the age of 40 as of May 1, 2023
- Is willing to submit a headshot, if selected, that can be published by units within Paine College

Selection Criteria
Honorees will be selected based on the following:
- Seeks to uphold the ideals manifested in the Paine College Ethical and Spiritual Values.
- Demonstrates a commitment to maintaining a lifelong relationship with Paine College and has contributed to Paine College within the previous calendar year up to December 31, 2022 (time, talent, or treasure).
- Has made an impact in their professional areas, communities, philanthropic endeavors, and/or Paine College. Examples of such include but are not limited to the following:

Company achievement or notable career growth (senior position, position of significant influence, fast riser, etc.)
- Elected office
- Board service
- Noteworthy, published works
- Successes in entrepreneurship, business, nonprofit, etc.
- National media coverage
- Outstanding civic involvement, leadership, or recognition
- Thought to be a leader, influencer, or "voice" in field/industry

Nomination
Nominations will be accepted from anyone including faculty, staff, alumni, community and friends of Paine College.

Timeline of important dates: ·
- February 1st – February 12th : 2023 40 Under 40 Nominations Open
- February 15th – March 1st : 40 Under 40 Nominees Application Period
- March 2023: Selection committee evaluation of nominee applications
- End of March 2023: 2023 40 Under 40 honorees notified and announced. All nominees will
receive communication.
- May 2023/Commencement Weekend (Date TBD): 2023 40 Under 40 Awards presentation.
